Liposuction Conquers Exercise and Age

With diet and exercise you don't have a choice in where you loose the fat. When you do loose fat, it is lost in proportion to your total amount of body fat. So often you loose the weight where you don't want to. Women tend to loose fat from their face and breasts before they loose fat in their thighs or stomach. Also, focused exercise increases the size of the body. For example, if you cycle to loose fat in your thighs and hips, you are actually increasing the size of your thighs and hips. The area becomes larger because more muscle is developing in that area.

With Liposuction you can choose where you want to loose the fat and what shape you want your body to have.

Age is the unavoidable force. However, with Liposuction you can minimize its effects. Body fat increases with age. On average a 21-year-old male has 13% body fat but by age 50 that has increased to 26%. A 21-year-old woman has 25% body fat but by age 50 that increases to 29%. Also, your weight shifts with time and age toward the middle of your body.

With Liposuction, the weight does not come back. Exercise and dieting simply shrinks your fat cells. They are still there. If you stray from your exercise and dieting routine the weight can easily come back. Liposuction removes the fat cells so the weight cannot come back. Rather the weight is gained in other areas, if at all.Around 20% of women who have had liposuction in their hips, thighs and stomachs gained weight in their breasts.

Liposuction can also offer the psychological boost you need. Often patients see the immediate results and are encouraged to continue exercising and eating healthier.
